I have just recently bought a new house and am doing up from scratch. I have taken everything out of the house and started looking for bathroom suites , kitchen suites and so on and so forth. I started in the living room, now what I have done with the living room is taken out the wall that was separating the kitchen from the living room, creating an open plan kitchen/living room. I have gone for neutral colours as I might want to be selling the property depending on the price I can get for it. I went and got my kitchen suite from a local DIY / home improvement shop and got a very reasonable price for the whole thing (I am obviously trying to keep the cost down to a minimum). Then I went onto the bathroom, for the bathroom I decided to spend a bit more and went for a designer bathroom suite. The reason for this was because I like to have a nice little sanctuary from the outside world and I find the bathrooms the best place for me. Now for the radiators I also spent a fair bit more than just getting old cast iron radiators, as cast iron radiators definitely do not go with the scheme and layout of my house, so I also went for designer radiators as these had a great modern look to them. Anyway hope I finally get finished with this, it’s taken a fair while already.
